I have seen a slight uptrend in cosmetic surgery volume. I think what is happening is people with jobs now are not as fearful of losing their job and therefore are more likely to have discretionary income for cosmetic surgery.
There are less young patients booking surgery. More middle age patients, more secure economically, more facelifts, liposuction, eye surgery, vs. young patients for Breast Augmentation.
Still see a lot of shopping for price point with little understanding of quality, safety, and outcome, only bottom - line price. It's distressing that price -point can trump safety!
